Big Paper

Changing the size of the paper can make a big difference.  CC has been drawing a lot lately, but her work was usually monochromatic and very simple.  We ran out of our usual drawing paper so I cut her pieces from an easel roll.  Look how inspired she was... adding layers and colors and spending lots of time of each piece!

I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your blog and your articles on babycenter! I discovered your site a couple of months ago and literally read through all of your archives in a couple of days. Congratulations on your third baby!

Oh, I did that with my daughter just before she turned 3 and she started drawing detailed bus maps of the city. Recently, I gave her some pretty colored lentils to glue and it totally changed her art making. Sometimes you just have to shake things up.
