One rule for this time of year is that all projects must somehow be related to the holidays... so instead of plain old play dough we made holiday play dough by adding glitter and sticking to holiday colors, including blue and silver for Hanukkah, which Sabrina has been learning about in school and desperately wants us to adopt.
What fun! We added peppermint extract to our playdough last week. Its so much fun to have a child who is old enough now to appreciate and enjoy doing everything this time of year holiday-themed.
Patricia it so nice to find you blog via Ohdeedoh (a fav of mine). I started blogging a few months ago after a move from Northern VA to suburban Maryland. I look forward to checking in with your blog for inspiration. I had no idea Gulf Branch Nature Center was so cool. I lived and worked in Arlington for 5 years prior to having my twins.
Just found your blog through Ohdeedoh. Your perspective is refreshing and inspiring. I'm enjoying reading your posts and have bookmarked you so I'll definitely be back!
Welcome. I am so glad you've come. My name is Patricia and this is a journal of my family's days and the inspiration that shapes them. I like to write, I like to make collages, I like to make things with my children and alone, and I like to share with others. My guiding beliefs are that every moment and every day are meaningful and that good times strung together make a happy life. If you agree, I hope you find something here to inspire you in your next good + happy day.
