At home we keep our art materials very neat and separate, we weed out things when they get old or when we have too much of something.
But at our local nature center both Sabrina and I swooned over a large basket filled with crayons. It just seemed so inviting, so ready to be shared. Maybe with the new year we'll loosen up a bit at home!

We keep our crayons in small jars, sorted by color -- I think it makes it easier to find the right crayon, but we don't use crayons much (the kids prefer the LYRA colored pencils). Hmmm, maybe that's why!
You all are so organized! I just have a big basket of crayons - the ones on the bottom never see the light of day!
