We spent a nice sunny afternoon painting smooth river rocks. We used tempera paints and so when things didn't quite work out we were able to just wash the rocks, a pretty fun activity in itself!
Painting on a new surface is always fun and inspiring. "The paint is slipping right on," was Sabrina's observation.
